El Comandante Aleman, a member of Los Zetas, goes on trial
El Comandante Aleman is accused of being a part of the Los Zetas cartel and has been charged with drug possession, weapon possession, and money laundering by the Attorney General's Office in Nuevo Leon.
Alfredo, also known as "El Comandante Aleman," was sentenced in Nuevo Leon, where he was arrested on September 22 in the town of Garcia. He was thought to be a member of the criminal group "Los Alemanes," which is linked to the Los Zetas cartel.
The Federal Attorney General's Office (FGO) informed us that the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office accuses him of drug possession, violations of the Federal Firearms and Explosives Law, as well as money laundering.
"El Comandante Aleman" was arrested on September 22 in Nuevo Leon.
Through the Special Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime (FEMDO), "El Comandante Aleman" was sentenced to trial. The Attorney General's Office said in a press release that he probably committed crimes against health by having fentanyl and methamphetamine hydrochloride for commercial use.
Also, "El Comandante Alemán" faces trial for possession of firearms, cartridges, and magazines, all for the exclusive use of the Army, Navy, and Air Force; as well as for operations with resources of illicit origin in the modality of possessing goods that represent an illicit activity.
"El Comandante Aleman" was carrying fentanyl and methamphetamine when arrested.
"Alfredo" A" was apprehended last September 22 by members of the National Guard (GN), with the assistance of members of the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA), while searching for a property in Garcia, Nuevo Leon, securing 147 fentanyl tablets, 487.5 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride, a long firearm, 159 cartridges, two magazines, and a vehicle," the agency explained.
Afterward, in the initial hearing, the agent of the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office (MPF), assigned to the Specialized Unit for the Investigation of Crimes against Health (UEIDCS), presented the evidence to the judge, who decided to prosecute "El Comandante Alemán" for the above-mentioned crimes, ratified the precautionary measure of unofficial preventive detention, and established two months for the complementary investigation.
