Blinken arrives in Mexico for a meeting with AMLO and Ebrard
As soon as he arrived at the AICM, Antony Blinken gave his word that the upcoming meeting with Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador and Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard will help to fortify the strong bilateral relationship that exists between Mexico and the United States.
Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard received at the Mexico City International Airport (AICM) the U.S. Secretary of State, Antony John Blinken, who will participate in the Second Annual Meeting of the U.S.-Mexico High-Level Economic Dialogue.
The U.S. official is expected to meet with President Andrés Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO) at the National Palace and in the afternoon will hold a press conference with the Secretaries of Finance Rogelio Ramirez de la O, Economy Tatiana Clouthier, and Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard.
Antony Blinken was also received at the airport by the U.S. Ambassador to Mexico, Ken Salazar, and Mexico's Ambassador to Mexico, Esteban Moctezuma.
Shortly before landing, Blinken assured us that the visit to Mexico will promote prosperity for both countries, as they share cultural and economic ties. On the morning of September 12, AMLO assured in the morning of September 12 that there is no agenda on the topics he will address in the meeting he will have with Blinken.
