Boca de Chila
The scenery on the way to Boca de Chila is made up of watermelon, mango, and tobacco fields. Unique landscape with 7.5 kilometers of white beaches, lagoons, estuaries, and overwhelming vegetation. It is excellent for camping, turtle, and whale watching. Petroglyphs have been found here and are exhibited in the town of Zacualpan, 8 km away. The mangrove area, a habitat of diverse birds, is an ideal place for nature lovers.
El Custodio Point
Lush palm trees and the impressive Pacific Ocean frame this destination. La Tortuga and La Punta beaches are favorites for surfers and kayakers. Further north is a small peninsula formed by whimsical rocks known as Isla Bonita, and on the other side of Punta El Custodio is Platanitos beach, which with its calm waves is ideal to enjoy with the family. In this destination, there are villas and condominiums of low ecological impact and one of the most important turtle camps in the state.
