Brian Fabián Beyer López Punches His Way to the World Stage

Brian Fabián Beyer López, a boxer from the state of Nuevo León, confirmed his gold medal in the boxing discipline during the CONADE 2024 Nationals after defeating Osvaldo Velázquez from Jalisco by unanimous decision in the 75 kilogram division in the men's youth category.
“I got this medal in my last CONADE Nationals competition, it was my goal, every night I was with those nerves and today it came true. I wanted to represent my state with great pride, as well as my family who always supports me and now waits for me at home,” commented Brian Beyer.
Under the orders of coach Nilyon Rodríguez Laffita, he gave a coup of authority in his last participation in the highest sporting event in the country after also being crowned last year.
“Last year I also got first place, my teacher trained me with a very hard preparation with strong sparring every day from Monday to Sunday, in addition to being concentrated, with many races and strength practices, this job has been going on for years because It is not achieved in a short time,” he added.
The 17-year-old from Nuevo León will have rigorous preparation to attend the next World Youth Championship that will be held in Porec, Croatia from October 20 to November 6 of this year.
“We are going to enter three months of concentration with the entire national team, with sparring partners, I want to train and improve my strength even more to go to the event as best as possible and look for a medal to make myself known internationally,” he concluded.
