The Secretary of Citizen Security and Traffic for the Benito Juárez municipality, Carlos Ernesto D’amiano Sumuano, confirmed that even with a robust police presence and high-tech tools, the assailants remain at large.
The shocking heist unfolded when a group of thieves brazenly targeted both a local hotel and a stolen Uber vehicle in one of Mexico’s top tourist destinations. The robbers stole cash meant as tip money for hotel employees, leaving the city’s police force scrambling to track them down.
