David Lopez, El Cabo 20, one of the crime leaders, is arrested
The kingpin David López, "El Cabo 20" is considered an organized crime leader and one of the main generators of violence in Baja California.
State Attorney General, Iván Carpio Sánchez, informed that organized crime leader David López, "El Cabo 20", who is considered one of the main generators of violence in the state, was arrested.
During his participation in La Mañanera a few moments ago, he added that this person is also considered to be the mastermind behind the murder of photojournalist Margarito Martínez Esquivel.
Regarding the arrest of "El Cabo 20", he explained that it took place in the state of Nuevo Leon and involved the participation of elements from the Army, the Navy, and the Baja California State Attorney General's Office.
Regarding the importance of his capture, he highlighted that local institutions have catalogued him as the main generator of violence in Baja California, in crimes such as homicides, the disappearance of people, and illegal deprivation of freedom.
