From the 1st to the 5th of June the First National Congress of Gastronomy, Culture, Tourism, and Business will take place. The venue is at Delmar International School in Los Cabos.
There will be 5 days in which the assistants will be able to taste the incredible Mexican cuisine of all the states of the Republic. Traditional dishes from Chiapas, Oaxaca, Veracruz, Chihuahua, Zacatecas, and the best, will be prepared by traditional cooks. Each cook will prepare 6 dishes, so there will be enough food for everyone. With this, it plans to become the largest gastronomic exhibition in the world.
On the 1st of June, there will be a free tasting of drinks and dishes. If you want to attend, buy your tickets as soon as possible. Right now they are in pre-sale.
From 2 to 5 you can enter for free and see the 200 producers of organic food, distilled, etc. Because business expo will be there.
If that was not enough, you can also go to the Living Museum of Gastronomy. There you will see an itinerant exhibition of the evolution of Mexican cuisine. During these days there will also be Charrería events, you can enjoy the mariachis and see the Papantla flyers. This congress does not lack anything.
And since it is the first time the congress is held, they will publish a book and a magazine. In the book will come the 6 recipes of the cooks chosen to represent their state and a small biography. The magazine will be divided into 8 volumes, it will have tokens of different foods such as beans and chili.
To collect all the information you will make a tour from Quintana Roo to Baja California Sur. The team includes chefs, anthropologists, historians, filmmakers, and photographers, who will make a series of documentaries. Attendees can enjoy all the Mexican wealth in one place.
