Traditional fish fillet tacos recipe with a different twist
To add a different twist to the way we usually eat fish fillet, we offer you the following recipe for fish fillet tacos.
Many times we run out of ideas for meals that we can make and we end up making the traditional fish broths or vegetable soups, however here is an excellent option to give a different touch to the traditional breaded fish fillets that we all know.
Ingredients:
Breaded and fried fillets
Corn tortilla
Finely chopped cabbage
Serrano chili
Carrot chopped in medium cubes
Onion in julienne strips
Vinegar
Lemon
Oregano
Chipotles
Mayonnaise
Cream
Preparation:
In this case, the fish accompaniments will be the protagonists of this preparation so we must pay special attention when preparing them.
In a bowl place the chopped cabbage along with the carrots and onion, add 3 or 4 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, chopped serrano chili, oregano, salt, and pepper to taste. This should be left to stand for at least one hour so that all the flavors are integrated and have the expected flavor.
While we wait for this preparation to marinate, we can prepare the chipotle mayonnaise dressing, which is very easy to make since we only have to grind chipotle mayonnaise and a little sour cream, until we get a firm texture, but easy to spread.
When you have both sides ready, it's time to assemble the tacos. To do this we take our warm tortilla, and spread on it the chipotle dressing, then place the fried fish fillet, then comes the preparation with cabbage we did, at the end and to present you can decorate with a little more cream and you like an extra touch can be accompanied with a spicy red sauce, but this is completely optional.
