On August 19, José Bernabé, alias "La Vaca", who also used the nicknames "El Animal" or "La Bestia", the alleged leader of the criminal group "Los Mezcales", was arrested in Mexico City, identified as one of the most wanted for his alleged responsibility in acts of violence committed in Colima.
