Friends get into a machete fight in Playa del Carmen
There was a sharp argument in the Villas del Sol subdivision in Playa del Carmen where friends got into a machete fight.
A fight between supposed friends left two injured with machetes, fortunately none of them had serious injuries. However, it was difficult for the paramedics to attend to them, since the parties involved in the fight were in a state of complete drunkenness, reports local media.
With machetes in one hand and beer in the other, several people fought in the Villas del Sol neighborhood, the night before last at 11:00 in Playa del Carmen. The disturbance occurred on Jilgueros and Sur streets, near the fifth park.

Police officers arrived at the scene after neighbors requested their intervention, as they feared for their safety. Paramedics also arrived at the site to attend to the injured and transfer them to the General Hospital; no arrests were recorded.
