The Pride parade in Mazatlan is scheduled for June 18 and will feature several surprises, and more details will be announced in the coming days.
The director of the Municipal Institute of Culture, Tourism, and Art of Mazatlán, José Ángel Tostado Quevedo, announced that they are getting ready to celebrate International LGBTTTIQ+ Pride Day, and have met with different associations to organize a big Pride 2022 party.
He commented that last year a big party was held at the Angela Peralta Theater, but with many restrictions due to the pandemic, but for 2022 they are looking to have a party in the open area and create a stronger identity among all.
"We are looking to do something similar to the Theater this year, but the most important thing is the celebration and inclusion something that the Mayor supports, we are talking with the different Associations on the subject of the parade, but later we will give more complete information"; said Tostado Quevedo.
The official pointed out that they are looking for the support of sponsors, and a recovery fee on the topic of whether to bring artists or recognized DJs, also they are checking the theme of the parade so that it will be with floats.
