The National Meteorological Service reports that heavy rains are expected in Sinaloa today, especially in Culiacán and Mazatlán. According to the report, this is due to a low-pressure channel that will extend through neighboring states, frontal system number 62 (unseasonal), and the entry of moisture from the Gulf of Mexico, which will cause heavy rains in the states of the northeastern region of the country, which could be accompanied by hail and electrical discharges.

Likewise, the SMN informed that some regions of Sinaloa are expected to have maximum temperatures between 35 and 40 degrees Celsius. Highs between 34 and 36 degrees are expected in the state capital, with lows of 24 degrees, a medium cloudy sky for midday, and overcast for the rest of the day, with a 95 percent probability of rain.

While for the port of Mazatlan there is a 92 percent probability of rain, and temperatures are forecast to range from 22 to 34 degrees, with cloudy skies during the day and overcast for the evening. For the north of the state, the SMN indicates that maximum temperatures will reach 35 degrees, with a high probability of heavy rains in Guasave, Salvador Alvarado, Ahome, and El Fuerte. Due to the rains in Sinaloa today, it is necessary to take precautions in case of flooding.
