The Mexican beach volleyball team maintains a camp in João Pessoa, Brazil, with the aim of fine-tuning the final details before its participation in the Pre-Olympic for the Confederation of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (NORCECA) of the specialty, which It will be held from June 21 to 23 in Tlaxcala and where the last places for the region towards Paris 2024 are distributed.

Abril Flores, Atenas Gutiérrez, Susana Torres, Yeray Vidaurrazaga, Juan Virgen, Miguel Sarabia, Gabriel Cruz and Ricardo Galindo, as well as their coaching staff traveled to South American territory, where they are fine-tuning details for their participation in the search for the Olympic quota, taking advantage of the locality.

The timely news occurred with the presence of Virgen, an Olympian in Rio 2016, who is part of the stellar couple with Sarabia, but who suffered an injury at the beginning of the current year and who will try to get back to his best to compete to be in his second Olympic Games.

In the contest that will take place in Tlaxcaltecan lands, only one couple per gender from each classified nationality will be able to compete, so each of the Aztecs will fight until the end to represent the country and try to obtain their pass to the summer competition.
