Meeting tourism resumes its revival in Puerto Vallarta
For three days specialists from all over the world will gather in Puerto Vallarta to promote training and research in these areas of health.
The meetings industry is beginning to reactivate in a positive way in Puerto Vallarta, now with the announcement of the International Congress of Podiatry and Podiatry, which will take place from September 23rd to 25th, celebrating its 30th anniversary in one of the most beautiful hotels of the destination: The Westin Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta.
The Mexican Federation of Podiatrists and Podiatrists chose Puerto Vallarta for the realization of this international meeting that is aimed at professionals with experience in the areas of podiatry and podiatry, as well as students in their academic training who wish to broaden their knowledge.
The objective of this meeting is to promote training and improvement in the achievement of academic quality and research of all its members, through sessions with presentations by professionals in the field, updating and specialization workshops, as well as any other type of academic, scientific and technological modality that contributes to the exchange of information of interest to those attending the Congress.
The most outstanding speakers of national and international stature who will be present at the congress are: Podiatrist Bernardino Basas (Spain), Podiatrist José Carlos Cuevas (Spain), Podiatrist Karen Ibáñez (Mexico), Podiatrist Lorenzo Andaloro (Italy), Dr. César Ochoa (USA), Dr. Lawrence Harclkess (USA), Dr. Jorge Hernández (Mexico), Podiatrist Fernando Valencia (Mexico) and Dr. Fermín Martínez (Mexico), among others, bringing together a total of 350 congress attendees and a commercial area with different exhibitors.
"For the first time we will have Podiatrists and Podiatrists in the same framework of the event, where we will be able to share different opinions of both specialists and thus know what each of them does, and above all create synergy between the two branches with theoretical and practical activities, in a pleasant atmosphere for all our guests and this time of course with our headquarters in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, combine knowledge with leisure activities, "said the president of the congress Dr. Jorge Hernandez.
Being firm to the measures implemented by the Jalisco Health Board, this meeting will have within its sanitary protocols the rigorous use of masks during the event, constant application of antibacterial gel for all attendees, and the congress participants will be requested to wear masks or protective glasses in addition to the use of masks.
The Convention Center of The Westin Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta will be disinfected every two hours for security reasons, exhibitors will have to respect their spaces with a distance of 1.5 meters from each other and the general capacity of the space will be respected with a 50% capacity, among other strategies.
Since May Puerto Vallarta has begun to reactivate its meeting industry in a safe manner with the VI Convention of Industrialists of Jalisco, the national meeting of the Small Chamber of Commerce, as well as meetings such as the spring edition of the Vallarta Soccer Cup, the new Peugeot Cup, the Youth Beach Volleyball Championship and the Vallarta Pride where thousands of national and international visitors attended.
