Four People Are Dead, One Wound after a Shooting in Downtown Pachuca, Hidalgo
The Hidalgo Public Security Secretariat reported that four people were killed and one more was wounded after a shooting in downtown Pachuca.
The Public Security Secretariat of Hidalgo informed that four people were killed and one more was wounded after a shooting in downtown Pachuca.
Through a press release, the institution detailed that on Sunday night gunshots were reported to 911 on Morelos street, at the height of Ocampo street, in the vicinity of the Primero de Mayo Market, so emergency, security, and civil protection elements went to the scene.
At the site, the Municipal Police of Pachuca and elements of the State Security Agency reported the location of four lifeless bodies, as well as a wounded woman, who was taken to a clinic by the Hidalgo Fire Department, under custody.
Agents of the Hidalgo Attorney General's Office went to the place, which was cordoned off, to carry out expert and investigative procedures to clarify the facts.
In addition, the authorities deployed an operation to find those responsible for the attack. The secretariat pointed out that the C5i video surveillance and criminal analysis units are following up on the events and gathering information on previous, during and subsequent movements of persons probably related to the attack.
