The alleged niece of Fidel Castro commits suicide in Coyoacán
The lifeless body of the alleged niece of former Cuban President Fidel Castro was found in Coyoacán, the woman allegedly committed suicide.
According to the Mexican news site Debate, the alleged niece of the former president of Cuba, Fidel Castro, committed suicide. The body of the woman was identified as Ligania Lomeló Castro in the Mayor's Office of Coyoacán.
During the night of Thursday at approximately 10 p.m., Ligania's body was found at her home in the El Rosedal neighborhood. She allegedly hanged herself. The investigation folder FCY / COY-2 / UI-2C / D / 812 / 05-2019 was initiated, where it was mentioned that emergency services were requested at Ohio Street and Miguel Ángel de Quevedo.
Upon arriving at the scene, paramedics and police confirmed the death of a 57-year-old woman, whose body was suspended on a rope tied to the stairs. According to the investigation agents, when interviewing the mother, Emma Castro, confirmed that both came from Cuba and lived in Mexico for several years.
It is also mentioned that the woman suffered from schizophrenia. The doctor, Ricardo Mora Durán indicated that she was diagnosed with this mental illness for more than a year.
