Tourist dies after falling from the fifth floor of a hotel in the Golden Zone in Mazatlan

According to the local media, due to unknown causes, a foreign tourist died last Sunday night, after falling from the fifth floor of a hotel where he was staying, in Mazatlan's Golden Zone. The mishap occurred at 8:30 p.m. at a well-known hotel on Camarón Sábalo Avenue in the Golden Zone.

Paramedics from a private hospital went to the scene of the accident to attend to the tourist, but upon assessing him they found that he had no vital signs. Hotel security guards were in charge of notifying the personnel of the State Attorney General's Office, so that they could certify the death and authorize the transfer of the body to the Forensic Medical Service.
